Randy Wiersma opened the doors to Randy’s Body Shop in 1982 with the help of his wife, Dianne, after discovering a need for top-notch collision repair work. Rumor has it, Randy became a quick learner as a result of his talent and frequent ability to wreck his own vehicles. At any rate, this was the beginning of what is now the only I-CAR Gold Class rated repair shop in Western Kentucky.
Randy’s Body Shop has always been a family business. Today, it is maintained by Randy’s sons Brad and Kyle, who grew up with the same repair genes that motivated their father. With a continued dedication to customer service above all, Randy’s Body Shop is proud to say 95% of all repair work is completed at our facility by our trained and experienced staff.
Today, the mission at Randy’s is the same as it was when the shop first opened 35 years ago: Impeccable performance, backed with excellent customer service. Our “customer-first” approach is what has solidified us as the go-to shop in our community and earned hundreds of dedicated customers over the years.
Part of the reason for our success is our dedication to learning. Randy’s Body Shop is a member of the Axalta Business Council, a group of 20 to 25 body shops across the country that meet regularly to study trends in repairs and learn from manufacturers.
Through this partnership, the team at Randy’s is continually gaining knowledge on the trends in modern manufacturing, making it easier to work on newer makes and models. The ability to work alongside other body shops and share tools of the trade helps to keep us ahead of the curve when it comes to repair work.
As Randy’s Body Shop continues to grow, we aim to offer even more value to our customers through the addition of value added services. The shop has in the past offered routine clinics, such as the “Women’s Car Clinic,” which focused on teaching vehicle maintenance and other informative car care tips.
Randy’s Body Shop operates with one goal in mind: to be the customer’s shop for life. Through these new and innovative programs coupled with our dedication for total customer service, we are proving that we are much more than a “you wreck it, we fix it” shop. We want to be your shop for life.
